“The South Semoran Corridor, known as Gateway Orlando, is an ideal location for the expansion of Marlow’s Tavern in Central Florida,” says Alan Palmieri, co-owner and partner. “The tavern will proudly serve the neighboring communities including Belle Isle and Conway, plus, nearby Lake Nona residents and visitors traveling in and out of the Orlando International Airport.”

The tavern will offer classic American fare in a comfortable and unique atmosphere for guests to create memorable experiences, enjoy chef-driven food and handcrafted cocktails. Marlow’s Tavern was designed with guests’ comfort in mind. The decor is timeless, with an innovative atmosphere and unique features, such as contemporary lighting combined with Chicago-style brick and rich appointments. The restaurant’s warm and inviting with dark wood accents, large leather booths and communal tables for a timeless look and feel.

Local restaurant industry veteran, Alan Palmieri, was searching for his next career opportunity when he discovered Marlow’s Tavern. After retiring from Darden Restaurants, Inc., where he was executive vice president of operations in the Specialty Restaurant Group, Palmieri knew that Marlow’s was what he had been looking for – the perfect neighborhood restaurant to serve his family, friends and the Orlando community. As a longtime Orlando resident with decades of restaurant experience, Palmieri knows that Marlow’s Tavern is a perfect fit for the South Orlando community. Palmieri will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and future development of the Orlando market. Palmieri opened the first Marlow’s Tavern in Florida in 2012 with additional Orlando locations on International Drive at Pointe Orlando, in Winter Park and at Waterford Lakes.

“Each Orlando neighborhood is so unique,” says Executive Chef and Co-founder John C. Metz. “Alan’s local perspective, community relationships, commitment to quality and strong affiliation with the values in which we believe are important factors to operate a successful restaurant at Lee Vista Promenade.”

The restaurant will feature the “best of the best” in classic American tavern fare served in a modern atmosphere. Menus offer a diverse combination of classic dishes that are updated and elevated to a higher level.

The beverage menu will include a wide variety of wines from around the world, all available by the glass, and a handcrafted cocktail menu that combines fresh juices and specialty, small batch liquors in an innovative and approachable way. The beer list is unique and varied, featuring local favorites, craft and import offerings by the bottle and on draft.

The restaurant will open daily at 11:30 a.m. to serve lunch, happy hour and dinner.

In every community Marlow’s Tavern serves, it partners with local neighborhood associations and charities to support and give back to the people who have generously supported the local tavern and staff. Marlow’s Tavern Lee Vista evokes a sense of community through its continued partnership with non-profit organizations such as the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Proceeds from the grand opening events benefit the Food Bank as part of the restaurant’s year-round commitment as a community partner.

“We are committed to be a valued partner in the Gateway Orlando community with an authentic neighborhood tavern experience each and every day,” adds Palmieri.
